To the old and new years

It’d be easy to look back at 2023 and be grateful that’s over, to have the mental image of pushing it off the edge of a cliff. But that would be ungrateful for a year that brought so much beauty, not least a year in which I went to new levels in photography. It was also a year of fear, anxiety and doubt. In being that, though, I found at the end of the year a door to living with fewer such devils on my shoulder.

2023: thank you. Thank you for what you taught me, the opportunities in photography, especially at Versailles, the perfect subject for me.

2024: I look forward to you with hope that you are a golden year of new horizons, greater simplicity and of course new levels to photography.
