I’m beginning 2023 with a photo of my favourite place: Hameau de la Reine at Petit Trianon, Chateau de Versailles. It was in the Trianon estate in October 2022 that I discovered how important photography is to me. By this time next year I want to be at least close to professional standards. I know I could take this photo much better now, but that’s a sign of learning not of having anything to be embarrassed about.

My goal is to move to Versailles this year and take every opportunity to practice photography with this most magnificent of subjects. Then, the route to professional photography opens up.
